I ordered a European Garden Bouquet for my mom's birthday. She received a plant garden with a few carnations. I called and complained, and they agreed to send the correct selection, only if we returned the plant garden, which we did, no problem. The flowers that were redelivered were terrible, nothing at all like what I ordered, and they were all half dead. I then googled the company and found out there were so many complaints of fraud and scams I was surprised. I will take my business elsewhere and plan to warn others on reviews on Yelp, Google, etc.

Wesley Berry Flowers Delivery Service Review

Ordered a snack from Wesley Flowers for my son-in-laws birthday on 8-1-16 to be delivered on Wednesday, 8-3-16. Good thing I followed up with my daughter, computer said it was delivered, daughter said it wasn't received so I called the ftd provider and found that, un fact, it wasn't delivered. Very deceitful company. Cancelled my $70 order and asked my daughter for the name of a local florist.

BEWARE!

Wesleyberry flowers is now www.flowerdeliveryexpress.com/ as well. they try to hide and look like a flowist in your area code. Be weary of any florist who doesn't have a physical street address as these order gatheres will always be decietful. Keep in mind if you order $100 worth of flowers from an order gatherer 20-30% of that never makes it to the florist. This then makes local florists look bad because it is their name on the card not these mystery gatherers. If something doesn't feel right don't hesitate to call. Even if you are sending out of state, your local florist will be able to send it for you or point you to a local florist in the area you want to send it to. A concerned florist

Taking ADVANTAGE of our Military Service Active Duty !!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
SCAM! My husband, who is active military in Afghanistan paid to have flowers, balloons,a teddy bear and candy sent to me for our one year anniversary. Not only did they charge us 157 dollars and never delivered the product to my home but, the service is HORRIBLE !!! I have been hung up on, disconnected, and never had a returned phone call. I have called over 15 times and was unable to ever speak to a manager or anyone in charge for that matter ! The only thing they said they could do was give us 50 dollars of store credit, like i'd ever use their service or recommend them to anybody after this ridiculous experience. SCAM!

It's unfortunate that place is still in business with all of the complaints out there. WB is one of many sending only call centers and not even a real florist.

They add on too many extra costs at the end of your order and then send a real florist a fraction of what you paid. The problem is that most real florists will not deal with these sending only call centers. We know that WB overcharged for what you ordered, but for us to reproduce the same items with the exact same flowers... we'd be out of business fast.

The best hint I can offer is this: when you search for local florists online, scroll down towards the bottom of the page.

This is where the real florists start showing up. The majority of the first ones on the search list are these sending only call centers.

STAY AWAY!!! What a ripoff!!! They lure you in with discounted offers but hit you with hidden fees that double the price you thought you were paying. They even hit me up for a donation to some tree planting service!!! As if that weren't bad enough, my order never arrived! When I called to inquire, I was referred to a supervisor who quietly listened to me explain what happened. At no time did I use profanity or raise my voice. So I was left in bewildered amazement when she hung up the phone for no reason. That's when I decided to review this place and found the complaints on this site. That was my first and last time dealing with Wesley Flowers. I wish I had been smart enough to research them before they were able to successfully rob me.

WB is what is called a sending only call center and not a real florist. They are one of many out there.

All they do is advertise floral arrangements at prices real florists cannot make for those prices without losing money, then add on a lot of extras and end up wiring your order to a real florist for the amount of the bouquet only. The real florist then has to decide whether or not they can make something close for the money they receive. Most reputable florists will not do business with these sending only call centers.

When searching for real florists online, scroll down about half way to find the real florists. The first ones that pop up are these call centers.

WB is the worst in my opinion, but there are plenty of others out there. Some even advertise in local yellow pages, like Just Flowers and FTD. Teleflora is another one, as well as The Sympathy Store, Blooms Today, Avas Flowers, 1800flowers, From You Flowers and more. These types of businesses also advertise on funeral home websites, Facebook and anywhere they can find potential customers.

It's like anything - buyer beware.

Always do a search with the name of the business followed by the word complaints. Hope this helps.

the person who took my order did not understand English... i was promised four hour delivery but flowers never showed up. when i called for a refund i was asked if i would accept a two hundred dollar in-store credit instead of given my refund. i had to threaten them with the BBB to get my refund. then was told they will not deliver to Parker Arizona anyway. this company is a scam they harassed me for the refund. they do not speak English they do not do as promised per the verbal contract. buyer beware when i asked for a supervisor to talk to i was told they have no supervisors and that they understood English perfectly yet i was required to repeat myself no less than 3 times for each thing i told them.

Ordered flowers on a business credit card and was never emailed a confirmation/invoice. It took multiple calls over three days to request a copy of a bill and what I was sent clearly shows a bill for $32.99 but the card was billed $60.98. I am still waiting to have some kind of resolution to their error. Before knowing about the billing/account nightmare I am experiencing now, I wanted to take advantage of a special offer they gave after the first order for another delivery and in that case the order I wanted delivered was delayed by two days and again, I was told the arrangement was going to be $19.99 and by account was charged $46.41. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company.

Terrible delivery

Took them forever to deliver my flowers. Then, I complained (after hours on the phone). The CEO sent me this nice email about how he was sorry and an alleged staff meeting happened to discuss my concern. I was issued a $50 credit for future order. Guess what the catch is (didn't know it at the time)? Credit can not be for any flower arrangement that is already on sale. They have all of their products "on sale" typically. I have contacted them about this. I will do my utmost to let everyone know to stay away from this awful company! I will post on Twitter, Facebook, Yelp, Trip Advisor, etc. How they stay in business baffles me!!!!!

Wesley Berry Flowers Delivery Service Review

Honestly this was the worst service I have ever experienced. I had to pay for flowers that I didn't order and that weren't delivered on the date I requested and paid extra for. When I asked for a refund they said that they would have to pick up the incorrect flowers that are perishable and would presumably be thrown out. I would NEVER recommend this vendor.

My husband placed an order for our anniversary for tulips. Didn't get tulips, but received the worst looking bouquet of 12 red roses. Browned edges, 1 broken, and no greens or baby's breathe. I called immediately asking for a refund, only to be hung up on, then given some run around. Was offered a store credit at some point, but did not want to ever order from them again. Horrible looking flowers, not what was ordered, and *** customer service!

Horrible Experience

I ordered flowers to be sent to a co-worker for delivery the next day - didn't happen even though I received emails stating order was received, sent to designers, and lastly an email stating flowers were out for delivery on appropriate day even though they were not! They actually were not delivered until 4 days later. After contacting them and complaining the flowers did get delivered and they gave me a credit for a future order. Shame on me for thinking the second time around would be different. Ordered flowers, got a call flowers I wanted were not available so I cancelled. It's been almost 3 weeks and still have not received my refund. Have gotten my bank involved but still no refund to date. STAY AWAY - I know I will!!!

We were disappointed in and embarrassed by the flowers you delivered

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We were disappointed in and embarrassed by the flowers you delivered under order number7047****. We also felt we were deceived by the website through which we ordered the flowers, leading to a $23 overcharge. We placed this order from Florida to be delivered in Shorewood, Illinois. We hoped to avoid a charge for dealing with a national broker by contacting the local florist directly. We also previously have had problems dealing with a national network when the local florist prepared flowers that had little resemblance to the web description. Your website led us to believe that were indeed dealing directly with the florist who would prepare the arrangement, but obviously we were deceived. Your website claimed we could get a 20% discount and free delivery. We called what we thought was a Shorewood florist and ordered the European Dish Garden. We opted for a $20 upgrade, which we were told included more plants and cut lilies. We expected to pay the posted ~ $40 for the garden plus $20 for the upgrade, totaling $60. After a 20% discount, this would come to $48 before tax or about $53 with tax. We quickly learned that “free delivery” is replaced by a handling charge of about $12 and our total was about $83, after discounts were applied. We were mystified by this math, but agreed to go ahead with the order both because we are accustomed to “bait and switch” pricing and because we wanted the flowers delivered the next day. The next day, we received a “thank you” Email from our friends. The Email included a photo of the plant, prompting us to call for more details. Our friend described it as “a beautiful African violet and three tiny plants.” The interesting pot in the posted picture was replaced by a straw basket. The pretty butterfly was replaced by an awkward bow. The “sophisticated” plants described in the posting turned out to be an African violet. We have no idea of what happened to the cut flowers or lily. We think there are more plants in the original photo than in the the upgraded plant you delivered. If you will send me your Email address, I will send you same-size photos of the posted flowers and the flowers that were actually delivered. To your credit, the plants were described a beautiful and delivery was prompt. There is nothing that you can to erase the embarrassment of this plant. When we paid for an upgrade and received a planter that appears smaller and to have fewer plants than the picture, we were disappointed. Your web site states that your flowers will exceed our expectations; these did not even meet them. We are not happy and would regard your crediting our charge account with $23 as a reasonable adjustment. Your offer of a discount on a future order will not be useful, because we have learned that ordering from you is not satisfactory. We have also learned that we need to be much more careful if we send flowers in the future to assure that we are dealing directly with a local florist and not with an FTD operation. It is our hope in the future to avoid overcharging and lack of communication between us and the person preparing the order.
